Job Description

As an Automation Engineer focusing on Rockwell/Allen-Bradley, you will be a key person in our automation and production team. You will be responsible for developing PLC-based control systems in a modern, GMP-regulated production environment within Life Science. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

Your Responsibilities

• Develop and improve graphical interfaces (HMI/SCADA).
• Implement and modify PLC functions.
• Work with technical platforms focusing on Allen-Bradley/Rockwell across various generations.
• Ensure that all automation solutions meet GMP, GAMP 5, and other regulatory requirements.

Examples of Systems and Equipment

• Communication solutions: EtherNet/IP, Profibus, Profinet, Modbus.
• Safety PLC and machine safety systems.
• Process equipment for pharmaceutical manufacturing (e.g., reactors and filling lines).

We are looking for someone who has:

• At least 3 years of documented experience with Allen-Bradley PLC systems and DCS - Studio 5000.
• Experience in life science, pharmaceuticals, food, energy, or other regulated industries.
• Good knowledge of industrial communication protocols and networks.
• Very good proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

Preferred:

• Technical education at the college/university level in automation, electrical engineering, mechatronics, or equivalent experience.
• Experience with integration between PLC and SCADA/DCS/MES.
• Advanced troubleshooting and optimization of control systems.
